My name is Louise Hayes, and I am the Managing Director of First Friends. I live in Hampshire with my husband and our two children, Indiana and Zac.
My journey in childcare began in 2003 as an apprentice. Since then, I have become a qualified nursery practitioner and have managed a renowned chain of nurseries for several years.
With 20 years of experience and a degree in Early Years and Education, I am dedicated to doing what I love.
10 years ago
Early in my career, I knew I wanted to open my own nursery one day. Working in the early years sector, I gained valuable experience, learning what worked well and what needed improvement.
With this knowledge and a passion for providing quality childcare, I opened my first nursery near Salisbury ten years ago.
Since then, I have expanded and opened three additional nurseries in the local area.

I wouldn't be able to do my job without my fantastic team and my uncle Paul, who has been by my side since the beginning, offering invaluable business knowledge and support throughout my journey.
Childcare is not an easy sector to work in nowadays, but I love what I do.
Every day, I wake up excited to start the day. My goal is to be your childcare provider of choice in Hampshire and Wiltshire.
