Communications
Regular and open communication is key between parent, your nursery key worker and nursery manager. For us to understand the needs of your child, we have in place various ways for us to communicate with each other.
Communicating with Families
Progress journal
We use an online system called 'Tapestry' for your child's personal journal. It includes photographs, videos and notes of special moments. You'll be able to log on from home to see their progress.
Drop-off & pick-ups
You can speak to your child's key worker or nursery manager at drop-off and pick-ups every day.
Newsletters & Surveys
We send you newsletters direct to your email address and we seek your views on how we are doing on our annual satisfaction survey.
Social media
We also have a 'General' Facebook page, simply search First Friends Day Nurseries.
We have a 'closed' group Facebook page for each of our nurseries.
When your child joins our nursery, we will give permission for any of your family members to join the group.
Parents evening
We host parents' evenings which allows you to come into the nursery and have quality time with your child's key worker. We share with you their progress and achievements from the previous term.
