What your child needs at nursery
Here's a little list of what we ask you to bring with you for your little one's first day at nursery. These items can stay at nursery, so you don't need to remember them every time you come.
- Drinking bottle for water
- 2/3 change of clothes (head to toe)
- Appropriate outdoor wear, including hats for summer, raincoats, welly boots.
For babies:
- Splash suits
- Nappies, wipes and nappy cream
- Baby bottle and formula/breast milk
- Comforters
Healthy Teeth & Happy Smiles
We are passionate about promoting good oral hygiene within our nurseries and as part of our curriculum, we plan ways to support and teach your child how to keep their teeth healthy and their smiles happy. We have introduced teeth brushing programmes into our daily routines, we provide healthy and nutritious meals and snacks that promote a balanced diet and use activities, experiences and books to embed learning.

Sun Protection Initiatives include:
- We use a high-quality, company-approved sunscreen that has a 5-star approval rating.
- All of our nurseries offer sunshades and gazebos to provide more shaded areas, making our outdoor spaces safer for the children.
- Children must wear broad-brimmed hats and keep their shoulders covered. To support this, we provide hats for both children and educators, ensuring everyone is protected.
- We check the UV rating daily, guiding us on when to apply sunscreen and ensure the children are protected from harmful rays.
