Here, toddlers have a wonderful space to learn, play, and explore with their friends. Our room encourages hands-on discovery, while a cosy corner invites enchanting story time moments.
Our nursery school boasts a spacious main room, providing ample space for various activities, with break-out spaces for quieter pursuits and focused learning.
To ensure the safety and security of our children, we have an enclosed garden area, as well as access to a large field belonging to the local Scout group. This allows our children to enjoy the benefits of outdoor play in a protected environment.
We teach Makaton as part of our curriculum. It is a language program that combines speech with signs and symbols. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to communicate and connect, and Makaton is here to make that happen!
We host regular Inspired Forest School sessions in all of our nurseries.
Forest School is an approach to education that makes use of the outdoor environment to learn.
We have a Movement & Mindfulness Programme in place which combines body movement with mindful awareness for improved physical health and mental balance.
We have many glowing parent testimonials and reviews on Day Nurseries website.
100% of our parents would recommend us to other parents, according to our recent Satisfaction Survey, 2023.
Our relationships with parents is very important to us. We communicate with families through your child's learning journal, Facebook 'closed' group, at drop-offs/ pick-ups, parents evenings and we host regular family events, such as Sports Day, Graduation ceremonies, Family Days and many more.
We use the Government's Early Years Foundation curriculum in addition to our own ‘Enhancement Branches’ that will build on the foundations given within Development matters.
